Trevin Melton is the son of Minister Eddie C. Melton and Mrs. Queen Melton. Mr. Melton is an AWESOME graduate of the Miramar Class of 2004. While Trevin was at Miramar High School, he actively participated in a host of musical ensembles and sports teams. Athletically, Trevin was a prominent member of the M.H.S. Football Team (Running Back) and the M.H.S. Track Team (100- and 200-yard dash, 4x1 relay).

Trevin joined the M.H.S. Chorus as a freshman and remained with us for (4) years. He performed in the Men's Ensemble, Chorale, Patriot Singers, and the M.H.S. Concert Choir. Most notably, Trevin was elected to become the very 1st Choir President in over (10) years! Some of his accomplishments at Miramar High School include his involvement with the Broward All-County Chorus, NBC6 Winter program, and to top it off, Mr. Melton was elected as MR. MIRAMAR for the 2002-2003 school year.

Trevin now resides in Tallahassee, Florida where he attends the Florida Agricutural and Mechanical University (FAMU). He is majoring in Health Care Management. Since he is unmarried and has no children, he has time to travel and work as well as go to school. In February 2005, Trevin was afforded the opportunity to travel to Ethiopia (Africa) with the FAMU Concert Choir. He even got the chance to personally meet and chat with Lauryn Hill.

While at FAMU, Trevin works at the Casanova Hair Salon as a top-notch barber and hopes to one day open up his own chain of unisex barbershops. He also is going to use his degree to work as a Human Resource Officer in a Medical Center.
